Health & Wellbeing

The Health and Well-being Board is a major strategic body which involves, the City Council, the Health Service, the Police and other partners.  It sets the overall direction  for services in Plymouth.  There is a paper below that outlines ‘what the Board is and how it works’, or you can find this and other documents on the Plymouth City Council website, follow this link

The Board meets regularly but will also have a series of solution-shops which will be open to anyone interested in the topic they are discussing.  These will happen when members of the Board feel there is a particular issue and they will advertise that opportunity widely.  Topics will be things like, Alcohol Policies, Use of Green Spaces and Exercise.  Do you have a topic that you would like our representatives to suggest for a solution shop?  It can be anything that comes inside the very wide remit of ‘well-being’.
