Plymouth City Council are currently in the process of consulting on the Plymouth and South West Devon Local Plan with South Hams District and West Devon Borough Councils. In Plymouth it’s Crunch Time: Where will we build and what will we protect? This takes forward all previous comments made on Plymouth Plan Part One and Plymouth Plan Part Two.
The consultation is open from 1 July to 12 August 2016.
During the consultation we will be at Central Library for local people to view the consultation materials and to answer any questions. Pop in and say hello on the following days!
- Monday 4 July, 10am to 2pm
- Wednesday 13 July, 10am to 2pm
- Saturday 23 July, 10am to 2pm
- Tuesday 26 July, 10am to 2pm
- Thursday 4 August, 10am to 2pm.
- Friday 12 August, 10am-2pm
In Plymouth we have created a map with accompanying booklet which shows all the sites in the city which the Council is proposing as a development opportunity or as a site which needs to be protected as a local green space designation.
The documents also include:
- An explanation of how each site was assessed
- A draft area vision of the three areas of the city we are expecting to see the most development
